PKN Orlen uses video bots. He launched a pilot project at 200 gas stations – Economy

The project will be carried out at 200 filling stations in Orlen by the end of August.

As part of this new service, “communication with customers at the group’s gas stations is carried out with interactive video assistants”, and their role is played by famous athletes: athlete Justyna Święty-Ersetic and rally driver Mikołaj “Miko” Marczyk.

PKN Orlen noted that the pilot project of a virtual video robot has been implemented in the startup acceleration program Orlen Skylight Akcelerator. “The solution will help and encourage customers visiting Orlen service stations to activate the +Mikroflota+ program. The project will be implemented at 200 selected Orlen service stations across Poland and will last until August 31, 2022.” – reported the concern.

The Orlen Skylight Accelerator acceleration program has been running for almost a year and so far four recruitment rounds have been completed, receiving approx. 260 applications from startups from Poland and abroad – companies have had the opportunity to respond to nearly 70 technology challenges in areas such as retail, logistics, petrochemical sales or energy.

“As a result of the evaluation of the submitted applications, PKN Orlen has decided to launch 14 pilot implementations” – explained the concern.

At the launch of Orlen Skylight Accelerator in July 2021, PKN Orlen informed Orlen that a total of 11 acceleration rounds are planned, planned until 2023, and that the budget of the entire program is 4.5 million PLN.

PKN Orlen recalled that the “Mikroflota” program is mainly aimed at micro-enterprises, allowing cash payments for fuel, products and services, while this solution also offers mobile payments in the mFLOTA application and collective billing – the purchase limit is PLN 9,000. zloty.
