XXIII Lviv Agate Summer: July 15-17

FAIR OF MINERALS, JEWELRY, CRAFTS AND REGIONAL PRODUCTS

The Lviv Agatta summer is one of the largest and most interesting regional attractions, without which it is difficult to imagine the calendar of the main events that take place in Lower Silesia every summer. The LLA event is aimed at both amateurs and professionals in the mineralogical industry.

The Polish capital of mineralogy for three days in July teems with life, music and, of course, delights with beautiful stones. The Market Square and adjacent streets of Lwówek Śląski are packed with hundreds of stands and stalls, among which are still new attractions for adults and children. The performances by the stars of the evening are the highlight of the all-day attractions.

Since 1998, the market has been attracted by the International Exchange of Minerals and Jewellery, filled with booths displaying beautiful precious and semi-precious stones, fossils, themed and collectible exhibits. Natural treasures can be admired not only, but also the owner of multicolored agates, amethysts, rock crystals, sapphires, pomegranates and many other stones and minerals from the area of Lwówek Śląski, but also from far corners of the world. Fantastic collections of specimens delight both seasoned experts in the field and tourists fascinated by the beauty of nature’s stone treasures. This year it is possible to browse between 210 stalls. It is worth noting that each of the stands is different and unique. Made from ecological materials.

In addition, there will be stands on the streets of Lviv, each of which will have its own unique character. There will be a handicraft and handicraft market (50 stands), a regional product market (50 stands), a “green market” – where you can buy everything related to the garden, as well as a curio fair.

Not only stones in different sizes, colors and shapes attract the participants of the event like a magnet. Additional attractions include presentations of the cutting and polishing of ornamental stones, “Geolandia” and a children’s play area – including an excavation site where you can search for agates.

Each edition of the Lviv Agate Summer is distinguished by the main exhibition with a new theme. This year the exhibition “Minerals of Lower Silesia” can be admired in the town hall. In addition, in the interior of the City Hall you can see more than a dozen private exhibitions of mineral collections and the multimedia exhibition of Lviv in the hall of the City Hall. Particularly noteworthy is the exhibition from the Resources of the Laboratory of Economic Geology of the University of Wrocław, entitled “Natural and Geological Resources of the Lwówek Region”.

There will be so many attractions that it is well worth studying the program of events. There will be two amusement parks in Lwówek, two stages with an independent artistic program and a popular science session. Exhibitors from 20 countries: Africa, Asia, South America and Europe come to the city. It is also worth noting that a team from the Krakow Center for African Culture is going to Lviv – through which the sounds of ethnic music will reverberate.

Many guests are waiting for the concerts of the stars of the evening. They perform on the concert stage in the city stadium. And among the guests include Video, Classic and Dawid Kwiatkowi.

All guests who come to Lwówek don’t have to worry about their car. The organizers have designated free parking spaces. Their location can be seen on the website:
