Kazimierz Organ Festival

The Kazimierz Organ Festival is an event that has been organized for over 50 years during the festive season in a town on the Vistula River. The concerts take place in the historic walls of the parish church on one of the oldest organs in Poland.

The King’s Aviation Picnic

Air shows and a picnic dedicated to the pilot of Squadron 303 Zdzisław Krasnodębski aka “Król” will take place in the municipality of Borki.

A picnic, games, competitions and artistic performances are on the agenda.

International Festival of Folk Bands “Eurofolk”

Dancing and singing Zamość, another edition of the Eurofolk Festival.

Andrzej Pilipiuk, Polish fantasy writer, known for eg books about Jakub Wędrowycz and a series about Kruszewski’s cousins, will visit branch No. 26 of the Municipal Public Library in Lublin.

A great walk through the ages

The walking route takes you from the Trinitarian Tower through the charming streets of Lublin’s Old Town, to the Church of St. st. Wojciech, where participants can admire the altars transferred there from the Holy Trinity Chapel. The program of the event also includes the tasting of Lublin specialties.

The program of the event includes a bonfire and tasting of regional dishes, as well as entertainment with live music. Local Housewives’ Circles will also present themselves.

Retro Meleks – A journey around Nałęczów and Wąwolnica

A trip back in time to the charming spa town! Thanks to the story of the guide you can feel the atmosphere of the village from the time of Bolesław Prus and Stefan Żeromski, legendary visitors and admirers of Nałęczów. The styles and stories during the trip reflect the zeitgeist.

Glass, Lubień, Niemirów, Morshyn, Truskavets and Druskininkai – famous spa towns of the former Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, which will be presented to the visitors by the exhibition “For the Borderlands for health!” The vernissage will take place on July 1, at 11 am, and at 8 pm an atmospheric dance party and a fashion show from the 1920s and 1930s are scheduled in front of the Lubomirski Palace.

Charming Lublin – photo exhibition

July 5 – August 31, 2022

In the “Okna” gallery of the Municipal Public Library you can see the works of the members of the Facebook group “Uroczy Lublin”. The opening of the exhibition will take place on 5 July at 6 pm and the works will be on display until the end of the summer holidays.

Tamara Łempicka – a woman on the go

In spring and summer, you can see the paintings of Tamara Łempicka, one of the greatest artists of the 20th century, known as the Baroness with a Brush, at the National Museum in Lublin. When visiting the exhibition, you imagine yourself in the twenties and thirties thanks to everyday objects from that period that accompany the works. The paintings presented in the exhibition come from Polish public and private collections and museums in France, incl. Center Pompidou, the MUDO Museum, the André Malraux Museum of Modern Art and the Nante Museum of Fine Arts.

Irena Jarosińska – Portraits

The open-air exhibition in Zaułek Hartwigów will familiarize walkers with the work of Irena Jarosińska. Among the characters she photographed, you can see Sławomir Mrożek or Miron Białoszewski, among others.

Andrzej Pągowski – Wajda again

The Center for the Meeting of Cultures once again offers a collection of posters for all the films of director Andrzej Wajda. New posters were made for the exhibition, with author Andrzej Pągowski, graphic artist, painter and social activist.

Archaeological exhibition prepared on the basis of finds and materials from excavations donated to the Archaeological Museum in Krakow by Poles living in Volhynia, Red Ruthenia, Bracławszczyzna and the Kiev region.
