The diploma concert of the AMU students will take place on 15 June at 7.30 pm in the Concert Hall of the Kalisz Philharmonic.
Students from the Faculty of Pedagogy and Arts, Artistic Education in the field of music art, take you on a magical journey into the world of classical, opera and film music. It will be a unique opportunity to see a young generation of emerging conductors. For the first time, the graduates will stand behind the conducting booth and lead the Kalisz Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra. The academic choir Kalisz and two soloists will also perform during the concert; Małgorzata Biniek (mezzo-soprano) and Monika Walczak (soprano).
During the concert we hear fragments of opera music, film music by E. Morricone and folklore inspired music from different parts of the world. The ‘Musical Journey’ is made by the Symphony Orchestra of the Kalisz Philharmonic, academic choirs: Student Choir of the Pedagogical and Artistic Faculty of the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Kalisz (Joanna Piech-Sławecka – choral preparation) and the chamber choir of the Pedagogical and Artistic Faculty of the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Kalisz (Beata Szymańska – choral preparation) and soloists: Małgorzata Biniek and Monika Walczak. Behind the conductor are our diplomats: Marianna Frąckowiak, Maria Marcinkowska, Andrzej Łaski, Anna Palusińska, Karolina Treska, Milena Wojtkowiak, Emilia Wrzos-Piątkowska.
