List of successes of Polish volleyball clubs in European cups

A year ago, Kędzierzyn players also met this Italian team in the final, winning 3:1.

Previously, in 2003, the club took third place as Mostostal-Azoty. At the time, the competition in the medal zone had the format of the Final Four tournament. It was abandoned from the 2018/19 season.

The club from Kędzierzyn-Koźle has been in the top four of the championship the last three times. In 2002, 2013 and 2018 he was just behind the podium.

In the Champions League, Polish teams took second place twice – in the 2014/15 season they were taken by Asseco Resovia Rzeszów, and in 2011/12 – by PGE Skra Bełchatów. In the 1972/73 season, the residents of Rzeszów took second place at the European Championship of Poland (the equivalent of today’s LM).

The participants of Płomień Milowice also won the most prestigious competition – in the 1977/78 season they won the then trophy in PEMK.

Polish teams also have two triumphs in lower-ranking leagues. In 2013, the volleyball players of Bank BPS Fakro Muszyna won the CEV Cup, and a year earlier, the players of Tytan AZS Częstochowa won the Challenge Cup, beating Warsaw University of Technology in the AZS final.
